is for giving
Sometimes it seems like everyone is asking you to give something.
There are organizations and institutions that need help helping people.
They ask for your money, goods, talent, and time.
There are telethons, walkathons, fundraisers, and charity events.
Letters are sent, calls are made, doors are knocked on.
It can make you feel like whatever you do isn’t enough.
Maybe you don’t have money or things to give to others.
If this is so don’t think you cannot help others.
Give what you have to give.
Give words of encouragement
Give a smile and a hug.
Give the gift of your caring heart.
Be someone who gives whatever you have to give.
Amen, we always have something we can give… a kind word and smile are two of the best gifts! We also need to decide which causes are nearest and dearest to our hearts and focus any extra dollars we have on supporting those, even two dollars multiplied by many people can make a difference. Also, anyone who shops on Amazon can use Amazon Smile and a portion of their payment will be donated to the charity of their choice. It’s also great to get out and do something for others… just as you often make some kind of food to share with your neighbors. I know how appreciated that kind of giving is, and it comes from the heart, not the billfold! ❤
I agree that we need to decide where our money gifts go. We can’t give to all but can find needs that speak to our heart and support them. I never heard of Amazon Smile. I don’t order from there often but next time I will check it out. Thanks for the info!
Patricia,
Here lately I feel like that’s all I’m doing is giving and giving and giving. I wonder when it’ll my turn to get back? lol Anyone who has children probably knows what I’m talking about, too. Have a good weekend!

Giving from the heart never goes unrewarded! Don’t get discouraged your generosity is seen and felt if not acknowledged.
There are so many ways to give. We all should be giving. Very well said.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
Thank you.
You nailed it with this post, Patricia. Giving from the heart is much more meaningful than giving from the wallet.
Many put all their faith in money and forget about love. Money is needed but if just given without care and compassion it will accomplish little.
Thank you so much , Patricia, for helping us with giving! 🙂
