is for intentional
There are lots of demands made in life.
Some of them make sense and some don’t.
It’s up to you how you respond.
Consider carefully what is being asked of you.
Take into account who is doing the asking.
Think about how it will affect you and those you care about.
Make the decision.
Say yes or no.
Then do what you intend to do.
There are enough wishy-washy people.
The world doesn’t need another.
Be decisive, assertive, true to your word.
Be someone who is intentional and in control of your life.
I try to be true to my word. Doesn’t always work out but I show up as much as I can because I know what it’s like to be disappointed. Wishy-washy is a good word I’d rather not have applied to me. Upstanding, dependable, with great heart are more attractive attributes.
I believe you have the attractive attributes of which you speak. 🙂
Thank you. A sweet thing that sayv
What a great post.
Thank you!
This was powerful, Patricia, really good insight! It is so easy to get overwhelmed with all the demands that life places on us. I am working really hard at prioritizing and in recent years I’ve gotten much better at saying “no” to demands and even to people who are not in my best interests. We only have so much time and energy each day, we will be happiest if we choose wisely how we spend it… with intention! 🙂
Thanks, Josie. I have learned that it’s okay to say no. It still isn’t always easy to say it but sometimes the wise response.
Don’t you just love depending on folks that say they are going to do something then when the time comes to do it they change their minds without a word. Bless their hearts.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
Fortunately, I don’t know too many folks that don’t follow through, at least not when it is important. Bless their hearts made me laugh…I live in the south and know just what you are saying.
Yep, you’re right. There too many wishy-washy people in the world. Showing intent builds strength.
Why is it that there are so many w-w’s? Are people just too lazy to exercise there brains?
I think people are too lazy for afraid to exercise their brains.
Patricia,
Intentional. Good word choice for a world as you pointed out is too wishy-washy. 🙂

I wonder why we find it so hard to be sure of ourselves. Wishy-washy is not a good thing.
