is for laughter
It is said that laughter is the best medicine.
It helps ease any and all pain, physical, mental, or emotional.
It may not cure you but it does make you feel better.
There is something in laughter that pushes away the hurt.
Laughter like tears is cathartic.
It cleanses and heals, nourishes and energizes.
It is not always easy to laugh at the hard times.
But sometimes it’s the only thing you can do to bear the pain.
Laughter will surprise and comfort you when you most need it.
Some people don’t understand the power of laughter.
It lightens the weight of grief and soothes pains.
Without laughter, the world would be a hard cruel place.
Be someone who understands the wonderful medicine of laughter.

Another keeper. I’d be dead without my sense of humor. Truly love this simple phrasing of yours. It’s inspiring me to use fewer words. What’s that Jack? That’s my Mama? I know. I know. 🙂
I know someone who I have rarely heard laugh. She worries a lot! Sad.
I’m always laughing. Where would we be without a good case of giggles.
In a really bad place of nasty moods. Giggle on, my friend!
I will. You too
When one of my father’s friends was telling stories about him as his funeral, we all began to laugh because it was so typical of my father, and I know that he was watching and chuckling too. We were all grateful for that brief respite from the pain of losing him. Laughter is indeed good for the soul, the very best medicine. I find that the antics of my furkids can make me laugh when I most need to, and so can Papa Bear!
I think it is wonderful when someone tells a story at a funeral that makes people laugh. I hope when I die there are more laughs than tears.
I laugh loudly and often. It’s a wonderful thing to do.
Have a fabulous day and weekend. ♥
I laugh a good bit. Maybe not loudly but with heart. Makes life good.
Eugenia has a point 😄. Thanks for reminding me of the positive effects laughing has on us!
Life is better with lots of laughter!
I have always believed laugh lines are more attractive than frown lines. 🙂
They are definitely more attractive. I have some of both…I would like the frown lines gone but I am ok with the laugh lines.
Very true what you wrote. Poor kitty it doesn’t look like its laughing, love that face.
Have a great weekend.
Thanks. Don’t you think the kitty looks like he is having a bit of a giggle?
