is for nothing
Being busy seems to be the epitome of the good life.
We are told always having something to do is important.
Being productive all the time is considered necessary to be happy.
In truth, there needs to be time to simply sit with your hands folded.
Time to stare into space without focusing on any one thing.
Just sitting by yourself doing nothing.
This is when your mind wanders wherever it wants.
It is when the outer world recedes and your inner world plays.
You hear music only you can hear and see beauty only you can see.
Doing nothing prepares you for something you will do.
Doing nothing helps you find what only you can accomplish.
The something that the world can only receive from you.
You will do many wonderful things in your life.
Things that one person or maybe the whole world needs to have done.
While doing nothing you will find your purpose.
Be someone who takes the time to do nothing to find where you belong.
Doing nothing is refreshing. I must concentrate on doing it more often.
Just let it happen. That’s when it is the best.
Another gem. I’m a fan of doing nothing. To sit and ponder in the wonder of it all. Like a cat who sits with his eyes half closed. Staying where its paws are. 🙂
Sit and ponder…that’s when answers are found and great discoveries are made.
I know. Just hard sometimes to remember it’s a plus to take a moment to muse.
Sometimes, doing nothing renews our interests in doing something.
Yes, it does and sometimes it is surprising.
This is so very true. If you’re too busy you never have time to ponder things. I find doing nothing most helpful.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays. Very aww kitty.
Have a fabulous day and week. ♥
Me, too. Pondering is precious time spent finding self. Thanks for linking this to Awww Mondays. Since I write A2Z ahead of time then schedule the post I don’t do the link. I will be back on track in May…I think.
Lovely, we all need these moments of nothingness to rejuvenate. https://akswrites.com/2018/04/16/not-the-perfect-wedding-atozchallenge-blogchattera2z/
Yes, we do. Sad that some folks don’t know this.
Thank you , thank you! This is a hard one for me, so it was such a blessing to hear it put this way!
It is way too easy for me to do nothing! Wish there was a way we could share some of our strengths to overcome the weaknesses.
