is for see
When you are out and about do you look around you?
What do you see?
Do you see beauty and treasures or ugliness and trash?
Some people are so focused on self they see only what matters to them.
Others are too distracted and see only their busyness or worries.
Too many look around and see nothing at all.
Yes, there is a lot of ugliness and trash out there.
But there is more of beauty and treasures.
Really there is more wonder and richness than you can imagine.
You just have to move past yourself and any preconceived ideas of perfection.
Open your eyes, your mind, your heart, and use all your senses to see.
What will be revealed to you will take your breath away.
Be someone who can see the beauty and treasures of the world around you.
When I was struggling to get used to my new home city, I started making a point to find one thing each day unique to this place that brought me joy. If I can get out of the house now, I can see the good.

I have never lived in another country or traveled across the ocean but I can understand how difficult it must be to become comfortable somewhere so different. I think you have found the key to making a new place home is to see the beauty and blessings of it.
Amen!
🙂
I look for the good. There is so much too. I’m with you on this.
Have a fabulous weekend. ♥
There really is more good than bad. The bad just gets the attention…and loudly so it seems like there is more of it.
I agree with you on this. There is far more good than bad. Shame on those that just focus on the bad. 🙂
I am enjoying your A to Z posts. Your words are wise and inspiring.
🙂
I agree wholeheartedly. I’m alone most of the time conscious of my surroundings. I especially am moved by little kids and animals. Love how a dog will amble over to greet you as if to say, where ya been? Or a baby giggling for no apparent reason. They remind you to be happy where you are impressed by all you see. Lovely essay Patricia.
Thank you, Susannah, you are so encouraging!
Truth is truth. I’m looking forward to T.
