Here are my 5 lines:
When we are afraid
It is not the time for war
When sense is mislaid
It is the time to explore
A peaceful path to be made
Hello Patricia, thanks for the prompt. I like your poetry. I was waiting for your feedback on my take on last week’s prompt ‘Hasten’ https://solitarysoulwithachaoticmind.wordpress.com/2018/07/21/lost-in-the-darkness/
Here’s the response for this week’s prompt word ‘Explore’

I haven’t any talent for poetry but you certainly do. Those lines are so clean and spare like you placed them on the page with tweezers. 🙂
Thank you, Susannah. I wouldn’t call myself a poet but I am learning as I write and I think I am improving. I like the challenge of poetry. I appreciate the encouraging words!
You’re most welcome, and I know Teddy and Jack agree with me. 🙂
PS. And I don’t mean Roosevelt and Kennedy either. 🙂
Beautiful words for peace.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
Thank you!
Yes. Wish I had said that. Peace. Patricia has a Gandhiesque quality to her writing, no question.
So true, Patricia.
🙂

Thank you for the kind words and encouragement.
