Mama just came back from her walk.
She walks outside, not just on the balcony but on the real ground.
I love it when she comes in and takes her shoes off.
There is so much to smell it takes a long time to sort through it all.
It takes so long that it wears me out and I have to nap.
I have wonderful dreams after Mama’s walks.

Our furkids love the scents shoes carry in too. I often wonder what they think about what their noses are detecting. Just like Jack, they will wrap around them for a nap!
I think Jack is jealous of the shoes and their smells…Teddy could care less.
Jack is as talented as his mother. The shoe didn’t fall far from the tree, if you know what I mean. Hope Teddy isn’t jealous. He’s more the outdoor man, like TR, his namesake. Probably out canoeing as we speak…:)
Actually, Teddy likes the balcony just fine and seems to have no interest in the great outdoors but Jack will try to escape out the front door. The door only leads to the hall but there are stairs he could run down to get outside. If that were to happen I would be frantic…he is in better shape than me and would make it down 9 flights before the elevator could get me to the lobby.
I love you feel he’s in better shape than you. Jack is Olympian Cat of the stairway. I now see Teddy waving his paw from the balcony like Queen Elizabeth. Your two men are very different. 🙂
Jack’s gorgeous and a smart cat!
He sure is. I love when his mom lets him post…:)
Jack is gorgeous and smart and he knows it and uses both to his advantage.
What a cutie! And our four love shoes from outside as well. 🤣
Yeah, they have to have been outside…slippers are of no interest.
How cute!!
Like you Anne. You’ve got a cat look goin’ on…:)
Susannah, I’m wondering if a CAT walk was part of your career.
That gave me a chuckle. 🙂
Thank you, Miss Anne.
Cats are weird when it comes to shoes, socks and feet. A sort of aphrodisiac for them.
I had one, Inky, who used to pee in my riding boots. Go figure.
Hah! Inky marked the boots. Must be a dog in previous life.
I finally threw them out and bought cheap ones I kept on a high shelf. Don’t you know that little furry felon found them? I took it as a sign to stop riding. We Italians can be very superstitious. Of course, what was I doing with a black cat. 🙂
I love black cats.
Inky was right out of a novel…slinky Inky was what we called her and had the heart of a kitten her whole life. sigh
They do like feet! None of my cats have ever peed on my shoes or clothes though a couple have peed in my bed.
Nice to see you cutie.
Happy you visited. Meow!
Aww Jack! You are a sweetie!
As I read Jack’s essay, I thought…I hope Kate reads this and passes it on to Morgan, Mollie, Hazel and Gracie.
I love Jack and Teddy!
Me too. Love their names, like they have cars parked in the garage with fancy license plates.
Teddy and Jack are both wonderful cats. And they know it!
Aw, Jack is adorable. Welcome to Feline Friday. I appreciate you joining in.
Have a purrfect Feline Friday and weekend, Jack. My best to your mom. ♥
Jack is a sweetie and he knows it!
There must be all sorts of exciting smells on those shoes, Jack.
Yep! Mama goes places I have never been 😦
