Hi everyone!
I am all smiles because I am all better! I went to see the lady vet and she did a sonogram and some tests and all is well. No crystals in my bladder and no blood or infection in my pee. I am going to stay on the special diet but I can have my favorite wet food, too. Jack is happy because he likes the special food, too, and we will share.
Jack went with us to the clinic because it was time for his checkup and rabies shot. He doesn’t mind going to the vet like I do. He gets right out of the crate and into the vet’s arms. Weird! He got his shot and loved on the lady. Double weird! Anyway, he is healthy but gained 1 and 1/4 pounds. Mama says we are all going on diets because we are getting fat. Her, too.
It was a tiring day for me and Jack so we are planning on a long nap. But before I go to sleep I want to thank all of you peoples for your good thoughts and prayers and advice. It means a lot to me and Mama.

Dear Teddy…
I’m so glad to hear you’re all well. Have been worried, finding myself mewing a lot. A woman on the street asked me, did I hear a cat cry just now…I said, um, I don’t think so. When she turned around, I thought of you again and without meaning to, mewed some more. The woman swung around and said…there it is again, didn’t you hear it?
I just shrugged innocently before running into Starbucks.

Mama was worried cause she had a cat with this problem, his name was Henry and he had to have his boy part removed! I am a lucky cat and I am thankful.

Diets are always bad news but, wet food, hmm…maybe we should try it. 🙂
I think I play just the right amount to stay my happy pudgy self. The diet isn’t bad. I like the food but there hasn’t been any food I haven’t liked.
That’s good to hear! Our 14 yo cat Jackie is on a special diet as well for crystals in her urine, and she likes this food most.
I really like the special food and so does Jack.
That is great news. Gracie should eat a special diet to keep her ph at the right level but she won’t eat. That cat will die before eating something she doesn’t like.
Please do not use the D word even in jest. Some girls are just fussy.

Such great news. Thanks for the update. Our Little Bit loved to go to the vet, but dogs are way different than kitties. They mostly like car rides and just about everything kitties hate.

Our cat bro Bert has been on a special diet forever because of bladder issues. We know how bad they can be, but he loves going to the vet.
Loves going to the vet?! Sounds a bit like Jack. I just don’t get it.

I would have been disappointed if I had to change the wet food, it’s a special treat.
