Lighten up, just enjoy life, smile more, laugh more,
and don’t get so worked up about things.
Well, it’s after seven and I am just now writing today’s musing. I’m doing it late, not because I was busy and didn’t have time to write, but because I was in a crummy mood. I have been in this mood for a few days. No big reason for it, and it is time for it to be gone!
When I was trying to think of something to write about, I saw the quote I posted above Jack’s picture. Something I needed to see. It made me think about my bad mood. What a waste of time, being miserable about nothing. Thinking about it made me laugh at myself. What a silly woman I am!
I feel better, though I still don’t have anything to write.
So, I will just say goodnight.

Love that you quoted Henry V. I too have been in a melancholy state hoping it will pass, not wanting to write anything. I think sensitive people are more affected by the ephemeral, things passing through, than the more rugged. A theory at best.
I find books help, always grateful to have one standing by to give me a rest from my woe.
Never fret Patrica. Your essays are always so insightful and lovely to read., no matter how long or how short 🙂
I LOVE the Kenneth Branagh quote! It is purrfect for this week for me. Thanks so much I really needed to read it.
A cute kitty and we all have days that are better than other days. I’m glad you’re feeling better.
Have a fabulous day, Patricia. ♥
Thank you, Sandee, I am back to my “real” self again. Having bad days makes me remember to be thankful for the good life I have.
Crummy moods come and go but we have our furbabies to cheer us up! When I get into what I refer to as my worrywart mood, I play with my cat. Those big gold eyes have a way of making everything more tolerable.
Moods do come and go. Thankfully my moods are usually pretty mellow. You are right about our catkids, they make us smile and calm us down.
My moods are pretty mellow until I read or watch the news so I stopped.
Great quote! Thanks for sharing. Stay happy my friend
Happy is pretty much my mood most of the time. The occasional bad mood makes me appreciate the good.
That’s so true! The bad highlights the good.
A sweet kitty face can make things better any old time!
Yes, my catkids can lift my mood in no time. I can’t imagine days without them.
