I have proved this to be true many times.
Most recently I have been thinking about painting my bathroom. A couple of months ago I removed the wallpaper. Then I hired Phillip, the handyman, to prepare the walls for paint. Took three days of sanding, priming, sanding, skim coating, sanding, putting a finish coat on, and sanding. The hard work is done. Phillip did that. I just have to paint.
When I go to bed I tell myself tomorrow I will get the job done. But somehow when morning comes and tomorrow is gone, and I start thinking about painting today…well, let’s just say it’s a lot to think about and that takes time. By the time I have thought about it the day is half gone and there are better things to do. Or at least things that aren’t work that I don’t want to do today.
Okay, tomorrow.
Maybe.
I will have to think about it.

Love the cat! And I gotta say, I started the kitchen, but the heat dome derailed me and it has been a month since I did anything. I’m about half way through and now I am blaming it on the gnats (we are having a once every 30 year infestation) and not wanting to get their tiny bodies embedded in the paint!
I don’t have an excuse other than I am lazy. We will see what next week is like.
You made me think of Scarlet O’Hara…I’ll think about that tomorrow. Tomorrow is another day. 🙂
Tomorrow is another day! But I am getting tired of seeing the room almost but not quite done. So I am going to get it done next week! Hopefully. 😉

I have thought about having Phillip paint it, but it is such a small room it seems silly to pay someone to do it. But it may come to that.🙁
Do it when you feel like it! I believe we do a better job when we are in the right mood. Give yourself a treat and a pat on the back when you are finished.
The day may never come if I wait until I feel like it. 🤷♀️
