Walking is man’s best medicine.
Autumn is finally here! I thought it would never make an appearance, but it has and beautifully. I have walked for several days, and I feel so good. Walking is indeed good medicine.
Well, good except for the fall allergy showing up. Usually, it is on its way back to wherever it comes from around this time. But it didn’t show up until last week, so I guess it will be with me for a few weeks. I will try not to complain about the coughing, sneezing, runny nose mess because it is so pleasant outside.
Anyway, putting aside the allergy stuff, I do feel better physically, mentally, and emotionally. I don’t remember being so affected by the weather in the past. It might be an age thing, but I am going with climate change as the reason.
Since Fall didn’t get here until late October,
I wonder when winter will show up.

Sorry I’m late musing. I always prefer the Church of Mother Nature to any other since, if you ever need proof there’s something bigger going on, tale a stroll among her trees and flowers, birds and squirrels, and you’ll come back a happy convert. I’m glad to hear you’re feeling so well. LOve your writing, as always. 🙂
Walking is great both for our physical health and mental well-being too.
So true. I always feel better when I take a walk.
Walking does clear the mind. Our Mom and Dad are behind on their walks, that explains a lot!
Why aren’t they walking? Are y’all demanding too much attention?
I’ve been walking for the last 7 months and it’s been wonderful. I feel better, have lost weight and can tell it in my clothes.
Have a fabulous day and week, Patricia. ♥
I retired a few years ago and started walking every day. But this summer was brutal, and I walked very little. So glad to be back at it!
