Write about the last time you left your comfort zone.

I have been trying to remember the last time I left my comfort zone since I read the prompt last night. Well, I have no idea when it was, what it was, or why it was that I was out of that particular zone. When what and why was probably pre-pandemic.Life has been pretty ordinary and routine since then. So this is pretty much a nothing response to the prompt.

It’s not easy but when you start stepping you don’t stop!
I don’t think there is a comfort zone anymore.
After all the reno is done at your house you will have normal again…or close to it.
Promise? Not sure I would recognize normal.
Pondering this question. I feel as if I go to war every time I leave the house, New York doing her new fierce dance of masked living. I always am very aware of the peace I’m met with as I unlock my front door, murmuring, thank God I’m home.
This whole pandemic thing is like a war…We just can’t see the enemy. Home is meant to be a sanctuary. We are blessed for our homes to be so.
I so agree. I say thank you God many times a day for the warmth of my home.
Love the image you have used. Life lived in the comfort zone is perhaps the safest.
I can’t imagine home not being a comfort zone, though I know home is far from comfortable for many.
It should be. But you’re right that it isn’t always so.
That is a tough one, the older I get the larger my comfort zone!
Maybe that is why I can’t remember when I was last outside my comfort zone.
I’ve stepped out of mine many times, but it was back when I was working.
Have a fabulous day and week, Patricia. ♥
There were many times when I worked that I was less than comfortable. I can’t remember anything specific, though.
Life can be like that. Best wishes for the new year.
Yes, Michael, life is what it is. Have a happy 2022!
