What is something you wish you knew how to do?

I wish I knew how to type. Well, I do type every day here and in texting, but I only use two or three fingers. I did take typing in school. After school, I never had reason to use the skill, until I got my first computer. I did try to remember what I had learned and did some practice on a website I found that taught typing. I guess I wasn’t all that motivated and stopped practicing.
Now, I am just too lazy to bother with typing properly. I do just fine with the way I type. Might take me a bit longer to get a post done or reply to a comment, but I don’t mind. I have plenty of time to hunt and peck on the keyboard.

I’m with you on this one.
Seems there are a lot of us without real typing skills.
I wish I had that skill too. Sounds cool when one can type without hunting for each letter.
If only this wish could come true magically without having to work at it.
If only
The Dad had typing in High School too and he used it right outta the gate in college and then in work. He still types fast without looking at the keyboard too.
He has lots of practice that”s for sure!
My workplace required typing so I do pretty well. I took typing class in high school too.
Have a fabulous day, Patricia. ♥
I was in high school and sorta learned to type but never used it in a workplace. Did have to use computers for sales receipts and such but nothing major.
I’m not Our Miss Brooks either on the keys. Never learned, but do like my 3 finger style since, it does the job. Unless you’re serving the likes of an E.F Hutton, I think we do okay, right?
I agree, no need to stress over how it’s done whatever works is fine. And yes we do just fine!
Computers made typing so much easier for me. Typing was one of the most useful classes I took in high school, but I was never very good on those older typewriters. I’m much better now with a computer.

Arlee! So happy to see you…it’s been ages. I think most folks would agree with you. Old typewriters had keys that were raised and took some effort to engage them. I am going to visit you and see what’s up with you.
