I just loved your couplet, 4 spare lines that say so much. I always yearn to write that way.
I am often more comfortable with just a few words. Although, I can be long-winded at times.🙄
No, you have honed the skill of spare and clean. It’s so admirable. Really!!!
🤗
Lovely kitty. Foggy rainy days are for looking out and being glad to be inside.
I agree. Although, I do like to take a walk when it is foggy.
What a lovely and peaceful poem, Patricia! That pretty kitty has a sweet face.
Thanks. I thought the picture was perfect to illustrate what I was saying.
You’re welcome!
Rainy and foggy days are just so perfect to curl up with a good book and hot coffee 😊
Make that a hot chocolate for me!
I remember reading a story where a prince replies ‘the mind’ to a river spirit when asked which is the swiftest thing in the world! True, the mind can take us places seen and unseen and some rainy days just let the mind wander.
Daydreaming is one of my favorite things. I probably spend way too much time in dreamland.
Don’t we all! I live in my Imagination land more than I do in reality!
Love this!! And what’s more–I’ve been looking for you since I opened a new blog in January, so I’m thrilled to have found you again. This is not a plug for my blog, you don’t have to respond at all–I’m just wondering if you still have that prompt…”5 lines”, or something like that? Blessings to you!
I haven’t posted anything on that challenge in…forever. I was thinking about starting it up again but haven’t decided. Stay tuned🙂
Oooh, I hope you will, I’ll be looking for it! 🙂
Rainy foggy days are for staying indoors and warm.
Yes, and for reading!
Yup! Exactly
Such a sweet kitty face!
Have you ever seen a kitty face that wasn’t cute?
Aw, so precious. Love that kitty and love your thought.
I linked this post to Feline Friday.
Have a fabulous day and weekend, Patricia. ♥
Thank you Sandee. Someday I will remember how to do s link. In the time…so good of you to do it.
