Image so pretty … I lovee ❣️
Happy you like the photo.
Beautiful photo. Fog…my only complaint is, it hides the Chrysler Building I get to glimpse coming back from my run. Other than that, it’s as if Mother Nature is behind a scrim, changing out her scenery. Like Wednesday, Word. 🙂
The best part of the fog is watching it float away, revealing the beauty of the scenery it was masking.
Very pretty photo and nice words! Boy did we have fog here last night, we couldn’t see the house across from us.
We have been having some fog, but it hasn’t been heavy. Sometimes, when we have dense fog, I can’t see beyond my balcony railing. I am glad I don’t have to go out when it is that dense, it’s scary.
What a lovely poem, Patricia! I love the last line.
Thank you❣
My pleasure!
I don’t mind the fog at all if I don’t have to go somewhere. We can get it so thick here you can’t see the house across the street. Scary when you have to go somewhere then.
Have a fabulous day, Patricia. ♥
It rarely gets that foggy here. If it does it is before I am awake. When I lived just blocks from Lake Erie the fog could be treacherous.
Something quite serene about the fog, as though it protects the city, asking it to sleep and just fades when it is time to get up.
That is the way I feel about the fog. It is very calming.
I like this…I like that very short part of day “before the noise starts”.
That is a favorite time for me. Now that I am retired I don’t see that time of day very often.😊
Keeping busy after retirement is a good thing–if you get to choose your own hours 🙂
Like the fog, your poem gently covers the mind with soothing words
What a lovely comment. And so encouraging, thank you!
