Where does the time go? I have been told that the less you have to do the less you do. That seems to be true in my case. When I worked I did more on my two days off than I do now in a week. I am very happy being a retired person! Maybe a bit lazy, but happy.
You’re much too hard on yourself. So what. Remember, it’s what you do, not what you don’t do.
Look how you wrote about it. Rather than perceived as lazy, how about having a touch of the poet that needs time to be still and reflect. Also, those 3 cats nap a lot, so one can’t blame you if you’re a tiny bit influenced.
What was that Teddy? “Mama rocks!”
Yes she does 🙂
Ok, I’ll blame the cats.
Slow and steady is good. Well maybe I’m not so steady but I sure am slow!
I am slower these days for sure. Guess that’s why less gets done.
And it really doesn’t matter, does it?
True. What is important and really needs doing, gets done
That is part of what makes retirement magical!
There is a certain magic in retirement!
I love being retired too. We are busy most of the time, but retirement is wonderful.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week, Patricia. ♥
There are times that I am busy, but only when I want to be. That is a plus of retired life. Thanks for doing a link!
I love being retired, however, I am an antsy person so I create things to do.
I think I was sorta antsy before retirement. Now I am more relaxed.
That’s what we humans do. Enjoy the easy life.
Sort of like my cats.😸
Yes!
Retirement is marvelous!!
Yes, it is!
