I don’t mind being older,
but I don’t like looking old.

It would be wonderful
if I looked like I imagine I do.

Maybe I will stop looking in the mirror.

Only the old ones can totally get it.
I totally get it.!

I hardly spend a few mins in front of the mirror…as I’m usually not very happy with what I see 🙈
That seems to be the consensus here. Kinda sad, isn’t it?
Mirrors reflect what we see not how we feel. I avoid mirrors!
What I see in the mirror makes me sad and a bit angry. You are right, mirrors should be avoided but that isn’t always possible.😾
Let me just say, sometimes I look in the mirror and ask…and you are? May I see some type of identification? That’s when pie comes in handy. or a cat. Makes it all a little better. 🙂
😸I know what you are saying. I am often shocked when I look in the mirror. That’s when I really need chocolate! And I avoid having my picture taken. The picture on my ID looks like an ancient alien.😿
What we need to remember is, health trumps crows feet. I learned that one the hard way.
So true!
Mirros and scales are both not overly nice.
I agree!
I love your quotes today and the pictures with them are PURRFECT! Thanks for visiting us and your kind comments about Cinnamon. We hope you have a marvellously happy week! Purrs Marv and Cinnamon
Pictures of cats and dogs often reflect people emotions. Maybe that’s why the are popular pets.
I’ve earned every gray hair and every wrinkle. I’m good in my 70 year old skin.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week, Patricia. ♥
Oh, I don’t mind being old. I just don’t like looking old!
I use the mirror only while brushing my teeth or hair
I don’t spend much time in front of mirrors either!
Good strategy
Less mirror time is always a good idea!
I agree!
