Monday, musings…

“What do you do with a mistake;
recognize it, admit it, learn from it,
forget it.”

We all make mistakes. Some are just little blips, and some are major screw-ups. What we do with our mistakes determines who and what we are. If we don’t face our mistakes and learn from them, we will keep making them.

Mistakes and errors in judgment happen, but they don’t make us failures. When we face our mistakes and do what we can to correct them, we become better people.

I learned this the hard way…with experience.

    1. It often takes repeatedly forgetting and forgiving to get where we need to be. But it is worth the effort. Keep on keepin’ on!

  1. It’s hard to forget them, but we do need to face up to mistakes and not make them again. Many never admit to mistakes and they make them over and over.

    I linked this post to Ass Monday. Love that cat.

    Have a fabulous week, Patricia. ♥

  2. Lessons. They’re all around us and yes, if we don’t learn them, they’ll be comin’ round that mountain again until we do. Mistakes are how we finally get it right.

    Love the brevity of this since it says so much in so few words. 🙂
