Worry never robs tomorrow of its sorrow.
It only saps today of its joy.

Why is that?

I guess because many of us cannot control our worry
But why can’t we control our worries so our minds are clear and we can find answers?
I wish I knew Patricia.
I sometimes worry about not worrying about things I should be worrying about!
I’m not sure we should worry at all. Maybe we are simply meant to give careful consideration to whatever is bothering us so we can find solutions to our problems.
Good advice! I worry because I worry too much! Silly me.
Worrying about worrying is sort of an endless maze.
Yes, unfortunately!
I have to try doubly hard to remember this. I have to stop wasting time anticipating every disaster.
It does take some effort to turn of the worry channel in our brains.
I think worry is like any other bad habit. I’ve been worrying less determined to live one day at a time finding all the small joys that present themselves we sometimes miss being so wrapped up in ‘what ifs.’ I’m not sayings it’s easy but it’s so worth the effort. You sleep better for one.
Love your crisp, concise verse as always. 🙂
Your insight is quite wise. Live one day at a time…yes!
It’s a kinder, gentler way to live I’ve learned.
That is very, very true!

Great advice and an adorable kitty. So cute.
Why? Could of, Should of, Would of.
I linked this post to Awww Mondays.
Have a fabulous day and week, Patricia. ♥
Good advice that I don’t always heed. Thanks for the link.😻
Thanks for the reminder Patricia.
I don’t know why worry sometimes overwhelms me. I really have to work to over come it.
It happens to most of us. Take care. Hugs
Thanks for this reminder Patricia. Much needed 😀
I have to remind myself about what the quote says. I do tend worry.
