It has been three days since I have seen a hummingbird here.

I will wait a couple of more days before taking the feeder down.
Just in case there is a bird that has delayed departure for a few days.

That’s so thoughtful of you, Patricia!
They are a wonder to see.
We still are seeing hummers at our feeder. Some of them are very tiny!
There was one this afternoon.
🤩
Or hummers are still fighting over feeding rights.
They have been coming one at a time. I don’t think they like to share.
I don’t think there is a sharing bone in a hummingbird’s body.
Keeping fingers crossed…hope they do come humming back, Patricia 😀
Saw one today.
Maybe they are learning some new tunes to hum.
There was one flitting around the feeder today.
Yes, give it a little longer…
Yeah, maybe a few days.
Must be stuck in traffic. Or maybe a group of them went shopping. I’ll bet they’ll be checking in soon. 🙂 Love the photo.
I think the delay of true Fall weather may keep some around a bit longer than usual. I will wait a couple of more days before I put the feeder away.
It’s such a pretty feeder.
Many of the migratory hummingbirds are gone, but our locals are still here. We have about a dozen or so most of the time. I always hate to see them go.
Have a fabulous day and week, Patricia. ♥
They usually leave here in early September. It is still hot and humid, so there may be a few delaying their departure.
Aww, that’s cool.
😸
😍
Flights are hard to book these days! 😉
That could be a problem.
