December is the month of Christmas.
Somehow it doesn’t seem like it this year.
I wonder why?
Is it because it is warm instead of cool or cold?
Or is it just me?
Do I need an attitude adjustment?
Am I becoming a curmudgeon in my odd oldness?
Maybe I need a swift kick in the butt!
Or a slap up the side of the head!

Some years I can’t the Christmas spirit no matter what I do. This may be that kind of year.
Oh, I hope not! Maybe the holiday spirit is late this year. There may be a back log at the North Pole.

I have the Christmas spirit but the weather seems to be confused. I would prefer a chill in the air.
The weather has been weird. Cooler today and rainy so maybe getting back to normal.

Funny you should mention this, and your pretty homepage makes me rethink my own. I’m not all that festive either. My doorman says, Xmas just came to fast…the way all the trees and ornaments showed up way before Thanksgiving, and how the good feel toward others is missing…the Joy to the world and all that is suppose to accompany it. You are not alone.
Please ask Teddy if he’ll don his Santa suit to give us all that swift kick in the butt we all need.

Teddy wouldn’t tolerate any silly costume but Sophie would be all for it.
I think part of the problem is I have a cold with coughing, runny nose, and semi-laryngitis. First time years I have been sick! Trying not to complain. 😼
You’re entitled. I sure hope you feel better. Chicken soup, liquids and plenty of rest. Sophie can be your nurse. 🙂
Slowly but surely on my way to what’s normal for me. Sophie stays close. She is more affectionate than Teddy and Jack.
