This week I celebrate air conditioning!
It has been a record-breaking couple weeks with temperatures in the 100’s.
I try not to complain about the weather but I must admit without a/c
I would be a complainer extraordinaire.

Have you ever been nderground?
I have.
But only in nderground places where I could see aboveground.
I am okay in basements with windows but not cellars.
I can handle driving through a mountain tunnel but
I do worry about accidents and traffic tie-ups and avalanches.
I have been in a cave but went only as far as the natural light went,
when I could no longer see the cave opening I turned around.
I have never been in a subway and think it would take some very
convincing talk to get me into any nderground traveling vehicle.
Other than the above-mentioned nderground scenarios
being buried is not a concern of mine.
Oh, I know it will happen someday.
But when it comes time to bury me
I’ll already be gone from this worldly place
and living in a heavenly place.
That’s my post for the letter
Have you ever wondered what it would be like
to live in an gloo?
I may have wondered at some time but
it is not something I ever want to experience.
Call me a big baby but I like comfort and warmth.
I looked up gloo on Wikipedia and learned quite a bit
about them. The most interesting thing was the inside
temperature can get as high as 61* from body heat.
I also learned that the sleeping quarters are near the top because
heat rises and when the place gets warm there is some melting.
It’s ok for some melting because when the bodies leave taking
their heat with them the temperature goes back to freezing
and the walls become stronger when new ice forms.
There was more info but there was nothing about bathrooms.
Are there bathrooms in gloos?
I mean really, do they have indoor or outdoor facilities?
Truthfully, neither sounds comfortable.
I would consider this type of gloo.
It looks warm and comfortable.
But I don’t know about the bathroom.
That’s my post for the letter
“Everything you ever wanted is one step out of your comfort zone.”
