Gift, blessings, purpose…

Sparks 7

“Every life has a purpose.
We need to let go of the past. Live in the present.
Do not waste today worrying about what will happen tomorrow.
Embrace your true spirit, embrace and listen to grace
and be transformed in the moment.
Do not fixate on what you want
but give thanks for what you have.”
Caroline Myss

The present is a gift of grace given to us one day at a time.
Being thankful for the gift brings undreamt-of blessings.
Then our purpose is made known to us.

Annie at McGuffy’s Reader says,
The negative energy in the world has become thick and oppressive…There is an obvious universal need for more positive energy and peace. And, we can all be part of this affirmative change.

I love the fog…

Chatting this Tuesday at the Cafe

Not much happening today.
But it was a beautiful fall day that started with fog.
I love foggy mornings!
This morning’s fog was exceptional.

The afternoon was wonderful, too.

And a thought for
Sparks 6

Did you ever wonder why Rudolph’s nose was red?

“Santa knows Physics: Of all colors, Red Light penetrates fog best.
That’s why Benny the Blue-nosed reindeer never got the gig.”
Neil deGrasse Tyson

Now you know.

No medicine is more valuable, none more efficacious, none better suited to the cure of our temporal ills than a friend to whom we may turn for consolation in time of trouble, and with whom we may share happiness in time of joy.
