I will write a story that will be truth or tale.
Some stories will be 100% truth (or close to it) others will be 100% tale.
Most will be a little bit of both.
You can decide where the story belongs.
It was a matter of life and death.
It was important that she ask the right questions.
It was also important that she understand the answers.
She took a deep breath;
The best brand of soda is Coke. I am addicted to it. My favorite is Vanilla Coke but I only see it once in awhile. When I do I try to stay calm and not over-react like a crazy lady.
I refuse to buy anything except food unless there is a sale or a coupon. I am not a crazy coupon lady, sometimes I just buy something I want when I want it, coupon or no coupon.
I am inspired by nature. If I am sad, angry or upset about something going for a walk or just sitting outside will get me off the crazy track back to my usual pleasant self.
Whenever I watched TV, I would become discontented with my life and the things in it…or not in it. It would make me crazy. I think it was the ads with their unrealistic take on life. I solved that problem by disconnecting the TV cable service. I also don’t read many magazines because of the ads and the slickness of the articles.
Who was your best friend in elementary school? Linda until we moved and I went to another school then I don’t think I had a best friend. I remember friends but no best friend.
What things could people do for you on a really bad day that would really help you? If it is at work I would like people to forget I am there. Don’t bother me, don’t ask me questions, answer the phone and take messages. If I am at home make me a meal and leave me alone.
If you could make a 15-second speech to the entire world, what would you say? Stop fighting and listen to each other. That is the only way to peace.
Would you rather be an amazing dancer or an amazing singer? I would be happy with either but if I have to makea choice it would be to be an amazing singer.
Bonus question: What are you grateful for from last week, and what are you looking forward to in the week coming up? I am grateful that I could stay home when I was sick, had nothing that had to be done and that I felt better in a couple of days.
I am looking forward to seeing a friend I don’t see often, going shopping with another friend and listening to a wonderful pianist who lives where I do play for the residents.
Well, here goes. These questions are the sort people use to screen applicants or in classes where observation, communication, or psychology is taught. Police and fire academies and the like also use this type of question to get you thinking.
So without further ado;
1. The domestic animal you chose is how you believe
other people see you, their perception of you.
2. The wild animal is how you see yourself, what you
think of you.
If we use me as an example:
I believe others see me as quiet, not much trouble, easy-going, funny and entertaining, don’t need others to be happy, knows the value of a nap.
Personally, I think of myself as reliable, work hard, quiet, funny, and easy-going, have a temper.
So there you are. Now you know all about me and all because if I was an animal I would be a cat or a llama.
I do not like the word, maybe. I mean really, what does it mean?
If you ask someone a question and they answer, maybe, have they really answered the question? Do they know the answer? Or do they just want to keep you unenlightened as to what they think? Or do they just not want to commit?
I think most of the time they just don’t want to make a statement to which they will be held. They don’t want to commit.
I do use the word maybe. Usually, when I just want to satisfy someone but don’t have an answer, or when I think it is nobody’s business and I don’t want to answer the question. But most often I say maybe when I want to buy time because I don’t want to commit.
Frankly, I think maybe is a very popular word and maybe rules the world. Or maybe not.
