Dream or Reality
Where am I, what am I doing, am I looking up or looking down?
Maybe this is one of those weird dreams I sometimes have
when I stay up too late watching stupid horror movies.
I just hope those lights and sirens coming this way
are part of a dream and I don’t really need…

Change
She worked long and hard to make her dream come true. She had been unwilling to make any change in the plans and schedules that she made carefully and in detail every step of the way. Many times she would cancel plans she made with friends and usually didn’t make it home for the holidays, birthdays or reunions. So often she broke dates with the man she loved and hoped to marry that one day he said goodbye and never came back. Everyone thought she was living the dream she worked so hard and sacrificed so much for all those years. But she knew the truth, she was living a nightmare of loneliness.

From Her Diary
I have always lived a quiet safe little life and have been happy or so I thought, but lately I have been feeling restless and bored. Surely, there is more to life than predictable days and uneventful weeks plodding along year after year. I want to go new places, try new things, meet people who are different than me, have adventures and excitement, and maybe even fall in love. It is going to be hard and I am scared, but I am going to burst the bubble of my comfort zone and go after everything I want in life. Okay, that’s decided and after some more planning and a good nights sleep I will take my first step tomorrow,…maybe.
