Don’t you just love those unexpected happy moments that pop up every once in a while?  I know I do.  I am not talking about big momentous super splendid type surprises but the little ones that lurk around corners–or in this case on a web site–that jump out and say,”Hah, here I am!”

I had one of those moments the other day.  I was doing some Christmas shopping online and found something I love that I have not seen in the (real) store for some time.  I thought it was discontinued as this particular retailer does discontinue things every season.  Well, while I was browsing the online store I found the item–and on sale!  Let me tell you I dropped my Christmas shopping and put my favorite in my cart  ASAP.

Some of you may think it strange to get so excited about a small thing like bubble bath and body lotion (can you guess where I was shopping?) but when you really really like a fragrance it sort becomes your signature, part of your identity.  The box came today–super quick shipping.  I think the UPS man thought I was going to faint when I saw who the delivery was from.  You may think I am going a bit bonkers over this but truly this is big in my  world–I have been without my identifying  signature fragrance for too long.

I am going to take a nice long bubble bath and put on my lotion and my most comfy jammies.  Then I am going to get my book and a glass of my favorite wine and my cat and curl up in bed.  A perfect night.

Oh, I did remember to do the gift shopping.

Frankly, the friends for whom I was shopping  unknowingly gave me a gift.  If I hadn’t gone to that site to get their gifts I never would have had my happy surprise.  Friends are wonderful!
