Today I am celebrating the fact
that no matter how frustrating
something is…
or how many frustrating things happen…
tomorrow is another day.

This cross stitch, that I did years ago, hangs by my kitchen sink.
I see it first thing every morning.
Today, I think…it is a good thing to remember every day.

Today is Thursday, September 30, 2010
There have been two days of rain and cooler temperatures. After a month of 90-100 degrees and no rain it is wonderful to see and smell and feel the rain.
Sameness, especially uncomfortably hot and dry sameness, gets on my nerves. (Some day I will complain about the sameness of the cold and wet, but not today.) I am pretty sure God knows people need changes in their environments. After all, He did create lots of different landscapes and waters and skies for us to live in.
So for now I am enjoying the rain and cool air; and because God is good tomorrow will be a new day of…something.
Thank you, Lord, for the rain and coolness. And if I forget, thank you for whatever You have in mind for tomorrow.
