Jack is not feeling well.
He had to have two teeth extracted yesterday.
He was given meds for pain. He won’t take them.
He won’t eat his food if I mix them in the bowl.
He won’t swallow them if I put them in his mouth
He seems to be okay…not his usual self…but okay.
Hopefully, he will feel better tomorrow.
Awww poor guy!
He was fine after a good sleep at home. The next day he ate without a problem. All is back to normal 😸
Good!!!
Hopefully by now he’s back to his happy self!
He is back to his normal laid back self. Not much ruffles Jack’s fur.
Aww, Jack, I hope you feel better soon.😽
He is fine now. Back to normal😸
I am glad to hear that, Patricia. 😺
Poor Jack. Hope he feels better tomorrow
All is well now😻
I’m so glad.
Oh Jack, I’m so sorry to hear all of this. But your mama and sister Sophie I know are taking very good care of you.
I had my wisdom teeth taken out, so I so understand.
He seems to be feeling almost normal. And has been eating the food I mixed the meds in. He’s laying next to me, purring and giving me headbumps while I scratch around his ears and chin. And Sophie seems satisfied that he is going to be okay and is napping in her bed.
What a lovely image. He’s soaking up all the love. I remember when you first got him. And how when you got Sophie you were worried your two boys wouldn’t accept her. Look at her now…Queen of the Hop. 🙂
She is definitely the Queen here. She does take good care of Jack. She washes his face and cleans his ears everyday day. And he loves it!
Isn’t that the sweetest. You’ve given me my first grand smile of the day. Remember when we thought Sophie would never fit in? Women are so resilient and forgiving…all that initial shunning, and now she’s cleaning his ears. Isn’t Narure amazing??? 🙂
Wishing Jack all the best and a good recovery.
He is doing ok. Would be nice if he was a bit more cooperative😼
Well, he is a cat… 😉
Jack, that medicine doesn’t taste nice, but it will make you feel better! Feel better soon.
Purrs,
Tylan
It’s a struggle to get the meds in him but does seem to be feeling better.
I hope he recovers soon. Hugs to you both.
He ate a little today. That’s a good sign.
The pain fade a little in 24 hours. 😍
My vet gives a liquid to squirt in and for some cats, it’s easier. Poor Jack. Sending hugs.
He seems to be a bit better. He ate a bit today.
He’ll get there. My Hazel was just like that. Never could get meds in her easily. After her dental I put her in a room by herself. When I brought up food. I cracked the door open, she pushed it and bolted. Most of my other cats were woozy the first day but not her and she wasn’t having any of the pain meds either.
I remember Hazel. She was such a pretty girl.
He’s gotta have those pain meds, it hurts lots. He won’t feel better for about a week. Feel better Jack.
He seems a bit better today.
