Friendly Fill-Ins, Week 46
1.In the Spring, I look forward to sitting outside reading and the sweet smells of flowers and the sounds of birds chirping.
2. I would love to have an it will never happen party. I don’t like parties so I wouldn’t love to have one, thank you.
3. Few know this about me, but I was (and deep down I still am) a brat!
4. No one is without secrets.

Yep. Bill calls me Brat. I get you there! I guess I am, too. And I am not a fan of parties, either. The skies have been full of birds here. They are all coming back! I am happy. Hugs.
We have birds all year but when the ones that migrate come back it is a joy to see them.
Ohhhh, #4 – so true. Great answer!
Thanks. Yep, everyone has some secrets.
Your response to #1 sounds so nice! I love the accompanying picture! I’m not into parties either unless they’re for family, but we haven’t had one in our family in a very long time. So true about #4!
I think for the most part it’s best not to know other people’s secrets. Usually, the secrets that are kept with the greatest vigilance are sad or scary.
Reading yes! Parties. . .not so much. I think we’re all brats at times.
I think you are right and we are all brats when pushed in that direction. It’s just that some of us just need a nudge.
I am a quirky brat! I haven’t been to a party since my husband’s retirement in 2007… 🙂 #1.. Yes!
Quirky is good and even better if a brat!
I am totally with you on 2 and 4. I avoid parties at all costs, they are not fun to me. I a not social in that sense. I had to laugh at you being a brat, you keep that well under cover! I can be a brat too at times, Papa Bear would attest to that! 🙂
Most people can be bratty. But it takes practice and determination to make it an art form.
Thank you for participating in the fill-ins, great answers. Nothing wrong with being a brat, I am too 🙂
It’s okay to be a brat. But it does take some finesse.
I love how each of your fill-ins has the purr-fect cat picture to go with it. Have a lovely weekend!
There are cats here almost always. Helps distract folks from the writing. 🙂
These have made me giggle. I would love to have a “drop in” party. You just show up and eat what ever is in the house and hang out for an hour and leave.
I’ve been to drop ins but you still have to be a party person to enjoy them. If I could make myself invisible when I want to maybe then a party would be ok.
I know how you feel. It does take some courage to go and I don’t drink so, that is always a challenge when ppl ask…why don’t you drink?
I think that’s a rude question right up there with…why didn’t you ever marry and why don’t you have children.
It’s also funny how they say it, like they are just asking..how you doing.
I don’t like to have “parties” but I have to take my turn with reunions and game night. Except for the reunion (which is outside), I keep gatherings at 8 to 10 people max. More than that and I get spastic. Also our house isn’t a “party” house so it’s not comfortable for large groups. The older I get, the less I enjoy that sort of thing…even just going to them.
I don’t have parties. It would be hard here because there is little parking and you have to ring to be let in the building. At least, the inconvenience gives me a good excuse not to have them. I think parties are not fun for those of us who are introverts extraordinaire.
I suspect that all of us are a brat in one way or another – me included! 😉
Have a great weekend!
But not everyone takes it to an art form. One year for my birthday I got three tee-shirts with the word brat on them.
We don’t like parties, either. Suz and I could just make a snack tray and eat it ourselves and call it a party.
Sounds like a great party!
Howdy, sister! I’m a brat, too. haha
I don’t like parties, either. I love the expression on that kitty. I also enjoy listening to the birds and smelling the flowers. I don’t enjoy the sneezing that comes afterwards, though. 🙂
Have a blessed weekend!
Fortunately, I don’t have much problem with sneezing since I discovered saline nasal rinse.
I’m glad that you found something to combat the sneezing. 🙂
