My 5 lines this week,
There was a Yankee who left Cleveland
With a quick snappy wave of the hand
Never once looking back
Now from a southern shack
Greets Y’all saying ain’t life simply grand

Thanks, have a great day.
It’s a wonderful prompt!
Here’s my take on it –

I liked your story. I commented but then I got a notification that my internet connection was off so I don’t know if the comment made it to you. If it didn’t…I liked your story and the courage of the small town girl. Thanks for sharing.
Thanks for reading.. Sadly, your comment did not make thru.. Nevertheless, I am so glad that you liked the story!❤
Uplifting words, Patricia. The prompt took me to a different world this time. Thank you.

And a beautiful world it is.
Thank you, Patricia 🙂
Y’all… I can imagine drawl on this word.
Y’all is a wonderful word but must be said with a drawl to be meaningful. 🙂
The last line is fantastic!
🙂
This is so sweet Patricia. Love the last line. Do cats meow with a southern accent I wonder? 🙂
I think cats meow in a foreign language so they have their own accent. Though I rarely understand what they meow they don’t seem to care. They have me well trained to do their bidding. Without being told I keep their dishes clean with fresh food in them and I always clean the litter box.
Kings with tails. :). King Teddy. King Jack.
It is simply grand.
Have a fabulous day. ♥
I agree!
