Three Line Tales – Week 23

The Good-Bye
It had been twenty years since she left, alone and scared but determined to be free of him. Now here she was on her way back to the island not quite sure she was ready to face him but again determined; she would do the right thing as hard as it was going to be. She never understood why her mother stayed with him but she loved her and would say her final good-bye; father be damned.
A very determined lady.
Yep. I stories with strong women in them.

I’ll be damned! A twister.
I was definitely trying to lead in one direction and surprise the reader with a different one. 🙂
Creepy, sad, yet defiant and hopeful. Nice!
Thanks!
You are very welcome!
This story gave me goosebumps! I love how she found both the courage and resolve to leave and then to return again when it was time. I have a feeling that the backstory to this one would be intense. You should write it!
Goosebumps? Great! There is someone doing a whole story 3 lines at a time. Each week a 3 line chapter is added.

Great idea but not sure I could do it. If I were to write more than a few lines I would need a good strong editor to keep me focused and from rambling.
Just wonderful and so strong! Really like 🙂 Have a great weekend – dropping by via Celebrate –Special Teaching at Pempi’s Palace
Thank you.
Interesting tale. And as promised it has a beginning middle and end. I tend to write more beginning, middle, second beginning unless I’m careful.
It is a challenge for me to say something in three lines!
Well done and intriguing.
Thank you!
Love the strong character you’ve created in such a short space – great stuff!
Thanks, Sonya. I am enjoying your challenge prompts.
I’m glad to hear it 🙂
I made it!! And I’m glad to find this piece is fiction 🙂 Thanks for the assist with your theme!
😺
🙂
Thank you and your imagination.
Thank you for visiting.
At first I thought it was a boyfriend. Nice twist.
Thanks. I like writing from pure imagination…I had a good daddy. 🙂
You were greatly blessed.
